I am inspired by the coastline. The ever - changing light, mood, and weather continually enforcing the wild beauty of that relatively small space between land and sea. (the EDGE)
I am constantly looking for ways to express what I see and at times unconventional in the use of the medium but the constant is to capture space, atmosphere and light – dealing with surface,
texture and depth. So the viewer feels the mood of the scene and has a vivid sense of actually being there.
I like to be alone when painting my commitment to my work is all consuming.
The result is I hope highly individual, personal, and yet surprisingly accessible.
